Following the recent developments around the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), I would like to share with you the difficulties as well as the strategies we have at Hubee.

The well-being of both our customers and our teams is our biggest priority. We are closely following the advice from the Australian Government and have therefore taken all necessary precautions within our stores to reduce the risk of spreading the Coronavirus (COVID-19).



Our management plan outline is as follows;
• We have taken steps to segregate some of our staff so that in the event of an infection, we can continue with the business.
• Staffs that are working from home have taken their VOIP phones with them and can be contacted in the usual manner.
• All our branches are well stocked so that if we are forced to isolate a branch, we can dispatch from alternate locations.
• All staff travel has been suspended until later notice.
• Face to face meetings (both internal and external) have been kept to a minimum and we have in place the ability to facilitate video conferencing calls.

It goes without saying that in the event of an infection or if a staff member comes into contact with the virus, we will follow all the recommended isolation guidelines.

During this time we recommend orders are placed by phone, email or online via our website for delivery please. In case of a forced lockdown, our phones will be diverted to team members in each state who will be able to open the office and dispatch orders.

One of the difficult challenges that we are facing is the volatile effect that this pandemic is having on our currency. I recently contacted you to inform you of the imminent price rise. The price increase we were forced to put in place is far greater than what I initially thought and communicated to you. Unfortunately, this won’t be the only price increase we have to put in place. We will, however, do our best to not only keep the price increases to a minimum but to also give you as much notice as possible.
